All About The Wagner's Farmland Experience
HISTORY

Wagner’s Farmland Experience was started in 2005 by Jimmy and Roxanne Wagner who are members of a farming family with a long history in New Mexico. As parents of four wonderful kids, the Wagner’s wanted to share their farmland heritage with other children and started to host school outings at their farm stand and orchard. The school outings were very popular and inspired Jimmy and Roxanne to create the Wagner’s Farmland Experience; a seasonal destination where families, schools and special interest groups could come and “Experience” old-fashioned farmland fun and learn about farming. The “Farmland Experience” runs from mid-September through October and is open every day.
WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS YEAR
Every year the Wagner’s look for new and exciting additions to their Farmland Experience and this year promises to
be bigger and better than ever. The corn field has been cut into a wild west scene that will challenge you as you navigate your way through the paths. We have also added two new mystery solving games this year for added excitement as you make your way through the CORN MAZE. Once you successfully exit the maze you’ll find yourself in the popular pumpkin patch. Next on the agenda is a hayride pulled by a farm tractor that winds its way through fields and drops you off at the petting zoo. The friendly farmland animals are always a big hit with the kids who enjoy feeding and petting the animals. The park is the perfect setting for a light lunch or snacks and the final stop for more fun-filled activities. Whether you’re six or sixty the wholesome outdoor fun of a country afternoon is hard to beat! Saturday nights are also special because the Wagner’s host an evening corn maze with a roaring bonfire so bring your marshmallows! Just think about the fun of navigating the maze under the stars and because you’re out in the country the clear skies are also perfect for navigating the heavens and spotting constellations.
Don't forget our newest addition to the Farmland Experience, our spacious Los Lunas corn maze at 1420 Desert Willow Road, behind the Wal Mart. This year is our second year of operation and we are really excited to shock you with the progress we have made to what not long ago was a arid, windswept piece of mesa. Your mouth will drop open when you see the expansive fields of pumpkins, the huge corn field with 2 mazes, thriving farm animals, and the beautiful grassy courtyard filled with fun activities. Visitors are sure to be entertained all day. Just look for the big signs in the corn field off Interstate 25 and exit 203, turn right off the exit and proceed around the Wal Mart store to Desert Willow Road. Drive until you come to the maze and prepare to have fun!
